Devon is a two-tier authority, with eight district, borough or city councils having local responsibility for housing, whilst central and local government determine overall county-wide housing policy and strategy.

In addition, district councils will support people who are in danger of becoming homeless, if you are in danger of becoming homeless or need help with housing services, contact your district council housing department and they will work with you to find a solution.
