What does it do?

Grants

There are currently a range of grants available to residents of Fylde.

Disabled Facilities Grant

The disabled facilities grant is a mandatory “means tested” financial grant. It helps meet the cost of adapting a property where a disabled person lives.

These are subject to an assessment by an Occupational Therapist which can be arranged by contacting Lancashire County Council on 0300 123 6720.

Gas Boiler Servicing

The Council now offer a gas boiler servicing scheme specifically for persons who area over 65 or have a health vulnerability. This service is subject to a financial assessment.

Energy Grants

A range of grants are currently available including loft insulation, boiler replacement and installation. This service is subject to a financial assessment and may not cover the full cost of installation.

Energy Grants are administered by Rhea Projects on behalf of the Council under the Cosy Homes in Lancashire service.

The Green Homes Grant

The Green Homes Grant – Local Authority Delivery scheme is a new Government backed scheme delivered by Local Authorities to improve the energy efficiency of eligible households for free (a contribution will be expected from Landlords). The aim is to help residents to improve the warmth and comfort of their homes whilst also reducing energy bills, carbon emissions and the levels of fuel poverty across Lancashire.
