What does it do?

First In Care Services is a home-based care provider, regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) we work with clients on both social services funding and privately funded.

Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for individuals who require assistance while ensuring they maintain their independence and dignity within the comfort of their own homes.

Service offered: Comprehensive Care for Every Aspect of Life

Our approach is holistically centred in promoting the wellbeing of our service users in the comfort of their own homes. The care we deliver is person centred with a bespoke ongoing care plan from 30 minutes visits per week to several visits per day, including overnight and 24hr round the clock live-in carer.

We structure the care to meet the needs of our service users. Our main services include:

Personal Care: Our carer assists with daily personal hygiene routines, mobility support, and medication management, ensuring our clients are always comfortable and well-cared for.

Domestic support: Keeping a clean and organized home environment is essential. Our carers assist with house cleaning, laundry, and other household chores to ensure a safe and comfortable living space.

Live-in care: Our carers provide round-the-clock care, offering support with personal hygiene, mobility, medication management, and all aspects of daily life, always ensuring comfort and safety. Our live-in care service offers flexibility and continuous monitoring, providing both clients and families with reassurance.

Companionship: Loneliness can impact overall health. Our carers offer companionship, engaging in conversations, playing games, and participating in activities to keep clients mentally and emotionally stimulated.

Meal Preparation: A balanced diet is crucial for health. We prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary requirements and preferences, promoting optimal health and enjoyment.

Transportation: We provide safe and reliable transportation to medical appointments, social outings, and errands, ensuring clients stay connected to their communities.

Respite care: We provide interim and respite care when discharged from the hospital while looking or awaiting care placement

We understand that individual needs evolve. Our care plans are dynamic, adjusting to changing requirements to ensure optimal care at all times. We work together with friends, family, and involvement of other healthcare professionals where appropriate, to meet the changing needs of our service users.

Communication is key. We keep families informed and involved in the care process, fostering trust and collaboration. We offer flexible care hours to accommodate unique routines and preferences, providing peace of mind for both clients and their families.

We aim to keep our clients in touch with their community and help them participate in the things they like and enjoy doing. Our staff are passionate about delivering excellent care service to our clients. Through robust recruitment process, we recruit the right staff who are knowledgeable, skilled, competent, experienced with DBS and background checks. Our carers undergo rigorous training both new and current staff, and continuous education to provide the highest standard of care.
