A bit more about me:

The world can be a complicated place and especially when it comes to making plans around long-term care needs and ensuring money doesn’t run out and estates can still benefit from an inheritance.

I run a Chartered Financial Advisor practice that is there to help people who need help when it comes to a complicated areas such as long-term care needs. Having a mother with Dementia requiring full-time care and having lost my father-in-law who had complex care needs, I am in a place of understanding. I know the stress and pressure later life can bring on families and attorneys. For these reasons, I want to help others through their difficult times and why I’ve chosen to specialise in this area of financial planning.

Care fees planning is an area that needs meticulous consideration. Planning is required to ensure that your or your loved-ones, health and welfare needs are met, yet are affordable.

Numerous people in their final years will need some form of care (1 in 4), maybe in a residential-home, or simply a visiting carer. If you or your loved ones end up needing long-term care, you will need a financial structure to help maintain a high level of care. This isn’t all connected with money held, but to look at all aspects from State Benefits, NHS aided care and income solutions to help pay any deficit. It is essential to ensure that you benefit from the funding to which you or your relatives are entitled, which is so often not the case.

This all combined with other areas of Financial Planning, such as Inheritance Tax, Retirement Planning and Exit Strategies all need to be considered in an holistic way. With the right planning, I aim to maximise your retirement, tax-efficiency, correctly balancing all money needs for now and in the future.
