Cavendish Homecare Professionals

Private nursing and complex care at home across London

What does it do?

Cavendish Homecare is a nurse-led private home care provider serving London and the Home Counties, founded in 2010 by Registered Nurse Mairead Liston. Our nurses and carers provide private nursing, complex care, palliative and end-of-life care, cancer care, post-operative care, dementia care and live-in care. Rated Good overall and Outstanding for Caring by the Care Quality Commission.

Who it is for?

Adults of all ages who need support at home. This includes older people, people living with dementia or cancer, people recovering from surgery and those with complex nursing needs. We support people in private homes, retirement and extra care apartments, and hotels, across London, the UK and overseas.

Where it is available?

National service (England).

What it costs:

Every care package is bespoke, so pricing is tailored to each person’s needs and confirmed after a complimentary consultation. Our services are privately funded, though private medical insurance or NHS Continuing Healthcare may cover part of the cost of care. Some clients may also be eligible for support such as Attendance Allowance. We are happy to guide families through their options.

How to access or apply for it:

People can get in touch with us directly through our 24/7 phone line or by email, or be referred by family, a GP, consultant or hospital team. One of our clinical managers will then talk them through their options and the next steps.

What to expect then:

After the initial call, one of our nurses will hold a complimentary consultation to understand each person’s needs and wishes. We then provide a quote and a proposed care package, and care begins once this has been agreed.
