AirCarers Companion offers friendly companionship for older people living at home in Hertford, Ware, Hoddesdon, Broxbourne, Bishop's Stortford and Sawbridgeworth. Help before care: every companion is enhanced DBS checked, and visits can include conversation, a walk or trip out, help with shopping and lifts to appointments. You choose your companion, and the same familiar person visits each time.

Companions can also travel home with someone from hospital, pick up essentials, make sure the house is comfortable and stay for company while they settle in.

Older people living at home in East Hertfordshire and Broxbourne who would like regular company, people settling back home after a hospital stay, and the families who arrange support for a parent.

Visits start from £25 an hour. Each companion sets their own hourly rate. There are no contracts and no joining fees, and you pay per visit.
