    How to access or apply for it:

    All alerts should be made to Adult Services:
    Adult Social Care Direct Team: 0191 278 8377
    Emergency Duty Team (after 5pm): 0191 232 8520

    What to expect then:

    A Social Care Direct worker will take information about the incident(s), including: the details of the alleged victim; the alleged perpetrator; the level of risk (if known); any immediate action taken to safeguard the vulnerable adult.
