Meals at home

What does it do?

We provide hot meals which are delivered to your home. They are designed to be your main meal of the day.  The meals have been checked by our dietitian and provide the correct balance of all nutrients.  The food is prepared on the day of delivery from fresh ingredients.  The meals must be eaten as soon as they are delivered to you when they are hot.  They should not be re-heated.

Who it is for?

Newcastle City Council wants to help people to live independently and to help people to make healthy choices.  We provide meals at home for people who cannot safely reheat a prepared meal.
