Day Support at Bradbury House, Glossop

Day Centre in Glossop

What does it do?

Our service Glossop provides activities and support for people aged 50+ who are in danger of becoming socially isolated.

Members can enjoy lunch together, participate in games and activities, arts and crafts, gardening and other hobbies.

What can you expect?

You can expect care that is matched to your needs, which we will monitor and review regularly. We will discuss your changing needs on a regular basis with you, your family and carers to ensure you are happy.

At Age UK Tameside, we believe in choice. We work with individuals to choose the support that is best for them. We value dignity, treat individuals with empathy and respect and ensure our services are inclusive.

Who it is for?

Many people over the age of 50 who live in Tameside and Glossop can utilise Day Support. To see if Day Support is appropriate for you (or someone you care for), a member of staff will meet with you to talk about the type of help and support you need. If you choose to come to Day Support, we will undertake a thorough assessment to create a person centred package of care, ensuring that you or your loved one’s needs are being met whilst at our centre.
