We provide a basic toenail cutting and filing service for the over-50s, who have difficulty cutting their own toenails, owing to frailty or a disability of some sort. Please note that this is not a chiropody service.

Our footcare service is delivered by volunteers who have received training in basic footcare and toenail cutting from a registered chiropodist. Please note that this scheme is not suitable for those requiring more complex foot treatment or people with certain medical conditions.

Age UK Hereford and Localities offers a wide range of services which are available to those aged 50 and over, their families and carers.

A footcare appointment costs £12.

There is an initial additional charge of £15 for a footcare kit, which is then used for the same client at each subsequent appointment.

We will need to send you two forms - one for you to complete yourself, and one for your GP surgery to complete. Once we get receive the completed forms, we can make your first appointment at the most convenient clinic.
