What does it do?

Age UK Hereford & Localities offers a free, confidential and impartial information and advice service for older people, their families and carers.

Our aim is to provide you with the facts so that you can make choices and decisions knowing that you have reliable information.

  • Assistance with identifying and claiming benefits
  • A wide range of free factsheets and leaflets

If we are unable to help you will, we will put you in touch with a trusted organisation who can.

Who it is for?

Our services are available to people aged 50 and over, their families and carers.

Where it is available?

Local service (Herefordshire).

By drop-in or appointment at one of our offices below. Please note that although our physical offices are currently shut owing to COVID-19 restrictions, our phone lines remain open.

Leominster Office: 30 West St, Leominster  HR6 8ES. Tuesday – Friday 9.30am – 2pm. Drop in and booked appointments available.

Ledbury Office: The Master’s House, Ledbury HR8 1EA. Monday, Thursday and Friday 9.30 am – 2pm. Drop in and booked appointments available.

Bromyard Office: Buttsfield House, Bromyard HR7 4AD. Tuesday 9.30 am – 2pm. Drop in and booked appointments.

Hereford Office: 52 Broad Street, Hereford HR49AB. Monday 9.30 am – 2pm. Appointment only.

Outreach: By visiting one of our Outreach surgeries – please ring 0333 0066299 for details.

Home Visit: If you are unable to visit one of our offices or outreach surgeries and require a face to face appointment, home visits can be arranged. Please ring to request an appointment.

Out of hours advice: If you need advice outside of our normal working hours, please contact the Age UK National Advice line on 0800 678 1602.  Lines are open 8am – 7pm, 365 days a year.
