Footcare service for older people in Worcestershire

What does it do?

Use our footcare service if you struggle to cut your toenails.
If you are in good general health but are unable to look after your feet, come to one of our regular footcare sessions at locations across the county where trained volunteers provide the toenail cutting service.

Accessing the service is simple. You may contact us to receive a referral form which needs to be completed by a Health Professional who will then return the form to us. You can also download the referral form by following the link at the bottom of this page. Alternatively, please visit your local GP who can also refer you on to the scheme.

Once we have received the completed form we will then contact you to confirm that you are placed on the waiting list.

When an appointment becomes available we will contact you and send out your appointment card together with terms and conditions for the scheme. Please read the footcare terms and conditions carefully prior to your first appointment and keep in a safe place. Appointments will then be made for you about every 8 weeks.

For people who cannot travel to an appointment due to mobility or transport problems, we also offer a home service.
