Support can be practical e.g. shopping; changing of anti-embolism compression stockings  assisting in welfare rights applications; collecting prescriptions and advising on a variety of practical issues e.g. community transport, delivered meals, home safety and/or providing a listening ear. Volunteers, additionally, can accompany clients to assist mobility and raise confidence promoting rehabilitation and independence.

The Service is offered to those who do not meet the criteria of statutory services i.e. low to medium need and who have little to no local support network to assist through convalescence.
