Adult Social Care
What does it do?
We can provide information on equipment and people (paid carers) to help you stay living at home and day services and activities to help you stay active.
We also have a range of information on taking medication, managing with incontinence, having meals delivered to you, preparing your own meals and keeping warm.
Of course, ensuring that your home is safe is top priority. There are numerous pieces of equipment and adaptations that can be made to your home. There is also a raft of modern technology (called Telecare) now available to you.
If you need help maintaining your home, we can help you find people to assist with your housework. Our Handy-man service might be able to put up a shelf for you or fix a broken chair.
