Lunch clubs

Lunch club

What does it do?

Royal Voluntary Service lunch clubs bring older people together to enjoy a hot nutritious meal and socialise with friends at the same time. There are 450 community centres and lunch clubs across England, Scotland and Wales.  Lunch clubs typically might meet once a month. The meal is just one part of the lunchtime experience. It's a social occasion as much as it is a nutritional one.

We run lunch clubs and social clubs in Pontypridd, Whitchurch, Dinas Powys, Cowbridge, Rhoose, Penarth, Colcot, Ynysybwl, Penrhiwceiber, Mountain Ash, Pentyrch, Rhiwbina where you can catch up with friends over a nutritious lunch time meal and stay the afternoon and enjoy some of our activities. If getting there is a problem, we may be able to arrange transport for you.
