Penrose Care

Home care with a human touch

What does it do?

Penrose Care provides short home care visits, day-visits, sleep-overs, night care and live-in care at home.

Who it is for?

Penrose Care provides home care services for the elderly, non-elderly adults with dementia, physical disabilities and/or learning disabilities. Penrose Care strives to provide excellent home care with compassion which it fosters by being an ethical enterprise. Notable ethical milestones of Penrose Care are: 1) in Autumn 2012, Penrose Care become one of the first (out of four) Accredited Living Wage Employers in England's home care sector out of nearly 7,000 agencies, and 2) in Oct 2012, Penrose Care became the first independent sector home care provider to be compliant with Citizens UK's landmark Social Care Charter, an ethical platform for social care providers. The result of these ethical practices include low-staff turnover and high standards of care reflected in our excellent client feedback.

How to access or apply for it:

What to expect then:

Following your assessment, a draft support plan will be made, which you will be asked to review and if you agree to the support plan you will be asked to sign a contract (terms & conditions) and decide when you would like services to start including how you would like to fund your support. You would then be introduced to your support team.
