What does it do?

Our highly trained and experienced friendly advisors offer impartial, confidential information and advice on a wide range of issues, from referral to local services and groups within Bedfordshire through to more in depth advice, for example, on benefit entitlements, housing issues, health and social care needs and money worries. We can also assist in the completion of complex official benefit claim forms, Personal independent Plans (PIP), Attendance Allowance (AA), Universal Credit and Blue Badge Applications. There is no charge for this service, but we are happy to receive donations from successful applicants. If you are housebound and unable to get into our office, then we will do our best to arrange a home visit. 

We also operate a free 15 minute monthly consultation service, with a highly experienced solicitor. This service is by appointment only.

Age UK Bedfordshire provide a range of products and services aimed at improving the lives of people over the age of 50 years, who reside in the County of Bedfordshire.

Local service (Luton, Bedford, Mid Bedfordshire, South Bedfordshire).

All Information, Advice and Support services are free of charge.
