What does it do?

We offer support within the home and extend our services to the wider community to ensure people's lives continue as normal as possible.

The list of services are.

  • Shopping service/assissted shopping service
  • Snack/meal preparation and cooking
  • Collecting pensions
  • Sitting Service ( to ensure peace of mind for relatives when they can't be there)
  • Transport to or from doctors or hospital appointments
  • Social trips to any destination of your choice or visits to see family or friends
  • Befriending
  • Domestic cleaning
  • Filling in of forms or writing letters
  • Telephone call to customer  to check on welfare.
  • Telephone call to designated family member to inform on relatives welfare.
  • Organised trips and events
  • Monthly newsletter to keep clients informed of what's happening in their community
The list is far from exhaustive, as our company grows so will the services we offer. We offer a good honest service that will support and care for you in your time of need.

Who it is for?

Our services are designed to support independent living for those recovering at home after a stay in hospital or for those that simply need a little extra help in their daily lives.
We pride ourselves on delivering a first class service without compromising on quality. The Managing director has had many years of professional experience and is passionate about dignity and respect for all. Our services are all about inclusivity not exclusivity.

Local service (Derwentside).

What it costs:

The cost of our services are from £11-00 per hour. Minimum time allocated is 30 minutes.
Our services are for as long as you need us - no lengthy complicated contracts.
There is no charge for travel to get to or from your premises but any additional travel that is required during the service period will have an additional charge.
For non-private customers please contact your local direct payments team to see if you can access our services with your agreed contract.

What to expect then:

Any applicant will be assessed for their care needs by one of our highly trained staff members. This can be at the applicants home or at our business premises.
We will discuss your needs and tailor you care plan to accommodate your particular needs.

Additional information:

Our company is managed and run by Jeffrey and Hilary Jaques. Jeff was born with a disability so knows the importance of good care standards are and how vital respect and dignity are in the support we give.  
Our company always monitors the care given and actively encourages our customers to participate in this process.
