Crabbe Street Wellbeing Centre, IpswichDay care and dementia services for people in Ipswich
What does it do?
Crabbe Street Wellbeing Centre in Ipswich offers personalised daytime care for older people who have Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia.
Our friendly team has specialist expertise in caring for individuals who have dementia, including those with complex support needs.
Each member of our time enjoys spending time getting to know the people who come along to the Wellbeing Centre, finding out about their lifetime experiences, interests, likes and dislikes. Our aim is to support each member to stay active and living independently in their own home. And our support extends to members’ families too.
Crabbe Street Wellbeing Centre has a lively atmosphere – there’s always lots of activities going on, from tai chi to baking. We have frequent visits from professional performers and we hold regular tea dances too. Our facilities include comfy lounges, several rooms for activities and a handy shop which sells snacks, toiletries and other small items.
