Care UK Active Days, Glasgow

Help to live independently at home in Glasgow

What does it do?

Our name describes what we do very well. Active Days works by challenging people with activities, games and daily tasks to encourage greater independence. For older people this approach works by making people feel more alert for longer; while individuals with learning disabilities show remarkable improvement as they learn new skills and work towards a
more fulfilling life.
We can also help people with more challenging issues. Every day our enablers are helping people recover after receiving a brain injury and others with mental health issues. Our enablers have specialist training and a great deal of experience which helps them deal with the challenging behaviour these can bring.
