Our services are available to adults aged 18+ living in their own homes or another establishment. People who use our services may have social needs and/or care needs including physical and mental health needs. Our service users may require assistance with activities ranging from assistance with meal preparation or companionship to physical care needs such as assistance with washing, bathing, toileting, hoisting etc. Social care needs range from shopping to assistance with making and attending appointments.

Local service (Knowsley, Liverpool, St Helens, Wirral, Sefton).

Effective from 1st January 2013, our general charge between 08:00 and 20:00 Monday to Sunday is £13.50 per hour, irrespective of the services provided.

After the initial telephone or Email contact, if requested by the potential client, the care manager Nicola Beal will arrange an appointment to go out and meet with the enquirer and/or potential service user.

The service at Support at Home is designed to meet the differing needs of each individual. We recognise that each service and care plan will look very different. We get to know each customer and listen carefully to the individual requirements before creating our Care Plans.

Our services include, but are not limited to:
 
Assistance with Personal care including toileting, bathing, dressing, incontinence care
Companionship
Respite Care
Meal Preparation
Domestic Duties
Escort for shopping, errands and trips out in Support Worker’s cars
Assistance with medication
Assistance with moving and handling transfers
Provision of respite care/sitting service/ night service
 
Our services range from 30 minutes to 24 hours per day and can be used as a ‘one off’ service or a more long term, frequent arrangement.
