The service assists individuals who through no fault of their own  need assistance to complete everyday household tasks, attend appointments, take part in activities and interests, maintain ties with the local community, including social and individual companionship. We also are able to provide respite and holiday cover for main carers and convalescent services on returning home from a hospital stay. 

Anyone over the age of 50, who needs assistance with maintaining their home or accessing the wider community. 

Regional service (Merthyr Tydfil, Torfaen, Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Newport, Rhondda Cynon Taff).

Rates do vary depending on the amount of time/ visits required. Some individuals may be entitled to Direct Payments from the Governments Benefit Agency.

An initial visit will take place, at an agreed time and place and details will be taken to ensure our service is able to fulfill all the clients needs and requirements. Prospective clients can freely ask questions about the service and its staff and make any of their wishes known. If the assessment is successful, a meeting will be arranged to introduce the assistant to the client. 

The service works for the client, no two visit need to be the same, unlike a lot of other services will do not work to specific tasks. The client will be asked on each visit what they would like the assistant to do this can range from shopping or cleaning to changing beds or cleaning windows. We even do some of the more unusual tasks like defrosting freezers to helping you pack to move. The list is endless, each visit puts the client in control.
