What does it do?

Queensland Homecare provide support to allow people to remain as independant as possible but offer appropriate and timely intervention with tasks which may be difficult for an individual.

We can offer help with personal care tasks including washing dressing/undressing, put to bed, meal preperation, support with medication, shopping (either with you or for you) laundry, light domestic duties, companionship, escorted outings, sitting service day or nights, befriending/check visits.

Queenslande Homecare can also offer a bathing service in our residential/nursing homes. The cost of this service is £10.00 per hour (provided the individual can get to the home independantly or with a relative/friend). The service user is welcome to enjoy refreshments after bathing and join in any activities at the home until their escort returns to collect them.

Local service (Kirklees, Leeds, Wakefield, Bradford, Calderdale).

What it costs:

The cost of an individual care package is discussed at the point of assessment. As a general guide the cost varies between £13.00 - £14.00 per hour.

Yes any support required will be provided on completion of an assessment by the Registered Manager. Packages of care can range from 1/2 hour to 24 hours per day according to individual needs.

What to expect then:

Our Registered Manager will make an appointment to visit you in your own home, or other venue according to your circumstances. This could be in a hospital setting, residential/nursing home, home of a relative/friend,  dependant on your individuaol situation.

Additional information:

Queensland Homecare staff are required to complete a comprehensive induction programme before working with service users. We offer Continuous Personal Development for all staff, ensuring they are appropriately trained and have the knowledge and skills required to meet the needs of our customers.

Queensland Homecare are registered with The Care Quality Commision and are accredited to deliver services to North Yorkshire Council.
