Home Care

What does it do?

We are committed to promoting independence and supporting you to live at home safely.

Home Care is part of a range of services and support that may be provided following an assessment of your needs.  The assessment will determine your needs and the most appropriate support required to help you.

This could include help within your home with personal care, including bathing, toileting, dressing and general help with personal hygiene. It may also be to assist with getting up in a morning and going to bed in the evening.

The care package would be arranged by the council and monitored by the Care Manager and reviewed when it is put in place, then either annually or every six months.

There may be a charge for the Home Care. The person would need to be financially assessed to determine their contribution toward the cost of the service.
