Community Mental Health Team - Older People

What does it do?

Description: we offer comprehensive assessments and treatment programmes; service user and carer support; advice on mental health and its' management.
Common conditions treated: services are for people with severe and / or enduring conditions: anxiety (if severe); bipolar
disorder (manic depression); dementia; depression (if severe); eating disorders; obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD); panic; personality disorders; phobias; post traumatic stress disorder (with referral to specialist service where required); schizophrenia; serious self harm; sexual mental health conditions; substance misuse (refer to specialist service).

Who it is for?

Older adults (from 75 years old); or dementia patients of any age
