Telecare

What does it do?

Telecare provides peace of mind to you and your relatives by providing a rapid response in an emergency.  A variety of equipment is available, it is simple to use and to install.  It allows you to live independently in your own home.  Telecare can help with your general safety, can help with medication management, wandering and falls and some heallth risks

Who it is for?

Telecare may benefit a wide group of people who are physically frail, have memory loss or who need reassurance

Where it is available?

Local service (Forest of Dean, Gloucester, Stroud, Tewkesbury, Cheltenham, Cotswold).

What it costs:

Telecare products can be provided free to people who meet the G.C.C eligibility criteria.  For other people who feel they would benefit from  the system, they can seek advice about how to purchase or hire equipment.
