Memory Clinic North (Peterborough)

What does it do?

The memory clinic enables people to be assessed and have a speedy diagnosis in
relation to organic memory impairment - ie Alzheimer's disease type and
mixed dementias.

The clinic works very closely with service users, carers and other teams within mental health services, GPs, social
care, the Alzheimer's Society and others to provide a holistic care and
treatment package.

There are a range of therapies that can be offered as well as carer support. The team is made up of dementia care
nurses, occupational therapist, administrator, psychologist,
pharmacists, psychiatrist. There is input from social workers.

Older people with memory problems in the Peterborough area.
