Fenland Community Mental Health Team Older People

What does it do?

The team provides assessment and treatments for older people having concerns
about their mental health such as anxiety, depression and/or problems
with their memory.

When someone is referred to our team, we carry
out an assessment of their needs. The assessment is ongoing; this takes
place over several visits to you at home. Then we will agree a
treatment plan that can support you and your family in the most suitable
environment to you.

In case of crisis, the team will refer you to the most appropriate service where all your needs will be met.

We also offer advice, support and education to all the agencies that
provide service to our client group. If you are a carer of someone
referred to the team you will be offered an assessment of your own
needs. If appropriate we can provide details about further support
available to you.
