Banbury Older Adult Community Mental Health Team

What does it do?

Banbury Older Adult Community Mental Health Team provides assessment
und treatment for older people with mental health problems. It also
provides help for people suffering from dementia, independent of age.
The team works closely with many statutory and voluntary bodies, such
as GP surgeries, Social Services, Alzheimers Society, and Age Concern.
It provides input into people's homes and support care in Care Homes within their geographical area.
The team is constantly reviewing the services it offers and encourage feedback via questionnaires and face-to-face contact.

  • Older adults (over 65 years)
  • Adults of working age (between 18 - 65 years) with dementia

Local service (Cherwell).

The service is free of charge.

How to access or apply for it:

This service accepts referrals from GPs and Social & Community Services (S&CS).

Office hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00
