Gravesham Place Day Centre

What does it do?

Gravesham Place is an integrated care centre which is run by Kent County
Council. The care centre is part of a new build complex, which includes
Gravesend Community Hospital and a day care centre.

Kent County Council work closely with the Primary Care Trust,
who run the hospital and day centre.

Who it is for?

The day centre specialises in building up people's confidence and
independence as they recover from illness or injury. It also offers
specialist sessions for people with dementia.

Local service (Gravesham, Maidstone, Swale, Thanet, Tonbridge & Malling, Tunbridge Wells, Ashford, Canterbury, Dartford, Dover, Sevenoaks, Shepway).

Referrals can be made via Case Managers or Health Care Professionals,
family members or self referrals.

Opening hours are Tuesday, Wednesday,
Thursday 9.15am - 4pm.

Additional information:

The day centre has a number of rooms available to hire free
of charge to the staturory sector / local community groups and charity organisations.
