Provides escorted door-to-door return transport to the disabled and older people residing within County Durham. Several services are offered: vehicle hire to Community Groups with driver/escort services, Shoppabus, a dial-a ride door to door service to local shopping centres.

For local residents who are unable to use regular forms of public transport due to disability or factors associated with old age.

Shoppabus fares are from £3.50 to £4.50 depending upon the destination. Specials (sheet available every 3 months) are from £5.00 to £13.00. Community hire is 35p a mile plus £20 per half day or £40 per day hire charge, plus £8.00 an hour for driver if required.

Normal hours are Monday to Friday from 10.00am to 3.00pm.

Their vehicles include 3 Mercedes with 16 seats, 1 Renault Kangoo with 3 seats plus 1 wheelchair or scooter, 1 citreon with 9 seats and 2 Eurocabs with 5 seats + 1 wheelchair with tail ramp. All have wheelchair accessibility and rear tail lifts.
