What does it do?
The Carers’ Centre Bath and North East Somerset was established in 1994 as an independent carers’ charity. It is established as the leading provider of free support, advice, breaks away from caring and influential lobbying for carers in Bath and North East Somerset.
Adult carers of all ages and young carers aged 5 to 17 are eligible for help and support to make caring easier.
One in every eight of us is a carer, giving time and energy, without pay, to care for friends or family who can’t manage on their own.
Carers fulfill a vital role in looking after others because of illness, frailty, disability or problems with drugs or alcohol.
