Bedale Community Minibus

What does it do?

The minibus has a tail-lift for wheelchair access and for those with mobility problems,
and can carry 14 passengers or 9 passengers plus 2 wheelchairs.
All our drivers and escorts are volunteers and they have all undergone Minibus Drivers
Awareness Scheme (MiDAS) training, and have been subject to Criminal Records Bureau
(CRB) checks.
The minibus is available for hire to all community groups in the Bedale area.  Community
groups are welcome to use their own drivers providing that they are in possession
of a MiDAS Certificate (we can arrange the training).
We provide a service to Northallerton market each Wednesday morning and provide transport
for people travelling to Dalescare Day Centre, and other destinations.
