Working to support Carers
What does it do?
Across Glasgow, regardless of where they live, carers can access a range of services through locally based centres and projects. Support Services have been developed to support carers in their caring role. These services are designed to support all carers and will be able to provide information on support services to individual care groups (for example dementia, mental health or older people).
Who it is for?
for carers
By carers we mean people who look after a partner, relative or friend who cannot manage without help because of illness, including mental illness, dementia, frailty or disability. They may or may not live together.
