Home Care

What does it do?

The service can provide help with:

  • Washing and dressing
  • Preparing meals
This type of care is provided through private and voluntary home care agencies. This enables us to provide a flexible service, tailored to your specific needs.

Who it is for?

Care in your home is a service provided to people aged 18 or over who need help looking after themselves.
Due to the huge demand we have for care at home services we have to use a priority system. For example, if you need help to get up in the morning and help with bathing and help preparing meals, it is likely we can offer you a service. But, if you only need help with shopping or cleaning, we are more likely to advise you on where you can obtain such a service.
We assess everyone's needs individually so it is always worth applying.

Where it is available?

Local service (Sefton).

What it costs:

The amount you pay will depend on your income and the number of hours of care you receive.
