What does it do?

It gives people the skills and confidence to get online.

Many different organisations make up the UK online centres network including libraries, Housing Associations, community centres and schools. There are around 3,800 UK online centres, and more than half are in the 2,000 most deprived areas in England. What they have in common is a commitment to helping people by giving them the skills and confidence to get online.

Online basics is a first-steps course for complete beginners.

Go ON is freely available on the web for anyone to use. Learners can find their nearest UK online centre which will provide internet access and support in using Go ON, or can start lessons at home with the assistance of friends or family.
