Burghfield and Mortimer Volunteer Bureau
What does it do?
The main purpose of the Volunteer Bureau (VB) is to provide transport by car to anyone who is unable to use other means, in particular for medical appointments. In addition the Bureau organizes transport to local day centres for some elderly residents.
Who it is for?
Residents of the parishes of Burghfield, Mortimer West End, Stratfield Mortimer, Silchester, Sulhamstead and Ufton Nervet.
Where it is available?
Local service (West Berkshire).
What it costs:
Passengers are encouraged to make a donation towards the cost of the service.
