Road Runner Community Bus

What does it do?

The bus is a 16 seater Mercedes operated by volunteers from the community and is based in Kempston. It is intended to provide a regular transport system for villages and hamlets which have no, or little, commercial service. The drivers give their time freely.

To see a list of services view the timetables page on Bedford Borough Council's website.
https://www.bedford.gov.uk/parking-roads-and-travel/public-transport/timetables-and-maps/

There are weekly runs from sheltered accommodation to stores in Bedford, and it is possible other runs can be arranged.
The bus can also be hired on a private basis and can be driven by any driver with a standard car licence.
