Day Care ServiceDay care service in Bury
What does it do?
Our activities include arts and crafts, dominoes, bingo and board games. We run regular days out and enjoy parties throughout the year.
Our clubs are small and friendly and we limit the numbers of people to 20 people per day.
Our aim is to enable older people to improve their quality of life and to help them maintain their independence and continue living in their own homes for as long as possible. We believe that our centres provide a safe and stimulating environment for our members and provide carers with an invaluable period of regular respite.

Our clubs are aimed at:
• residents of Ramsbottom, who meet on Mondays;

How do I join?
If you feel this is a club that you would benefit from, you will need to be referred by a Social Worker, following an assessment. An assessment is simply a discussion with you that will help your Social Worker understand what help and support you might need coping with life on a day to day basis and living independently in your own home.
You can contact Adult Care Services during normal office hours (Monday- Friday between 8.45am and 5pm) on the telephone on 0161 253 5151 or on email: firstname.lastname@example.org or visit https://yourcareyourchoice.bury.gov.uk/
