Lunch Clubs

What does it do?

Lunch clubs offer friendship, recreation and support and can be a great way to make some new friends, or perhaps catch up with old ones.

Some clubs run for 2 hour clubs and some are 3 hour clubs.

Members are offered a cup of tea or coffee before lunch is served.

There is also time for socialising and a game or two of bingo and other activities.

There are 10 clubs run at several different locations around Reading.

Lunch clubs are open to anyone over 55 years of age who lives in the Borough of Reading, however you do need to register with us and book a meal by telephoning our office using the details below.

A subscription is payable each week at the club. Where possible we will also arrange transport for you with Readibus or another similar provider. This is sometimes available free of charge – please phone us for details.
