Russia Lane Day Centre

What does it do?

The centre provides care, support and stimulation for 25 people with moderate to severe dementia. All users have a ‘Key Worker’, through this system we aim to provide the continuity of a designated member of staff, and help create closer relationships that will encourage users to express their needs and achieve the aims of their Care Plan. The centre has both male and female staff that are trained and experienced in the care of people with moderate to severe dementia.

At Russia Day Centre we aim to:

  • Meet the individual needs of our users.
  • Help people maintain their independence, whilst offering support to carers.
  • Offer social interaction with others and provide an opportunity to make new friends.
  • Achieve a stimulating environment with a variety of activities.
  • Create a lively and friendly atmosphere, where all are made to feel welcome.
