Pravasi Mandal is the sole provider in Northamptonshire of sympathetic, specialist care services to elderly Asian people and their families. Originally established in 1984 by a group of men who wished to meet on a regular basis for companionship, Pravasi Mandal has now developed into a substantial organization which is committed to provide daycare to the Asian elderly people within the community and address their cultural issues. Our employees work in tandem with each other, to provide care and services of the highest quality to the Asian elderly. All the services which we provide focus on the needs of our elderly members. We have a planned program that includes a variety of health, social and supportive services in a safe, protective environment during the daytime hours. The programs are structured and designed to cover all the daily needs of our members. Pravasi Mandal was established in 1984 by a group of Asian men who wished to meet on a regular basis for companionship and social stimulation. Since then, the group has grown into a successful, professional organisation and registered a charity, catering for the needs of over 400 members. This is the only organisation in Northamptonshire providing Day Care and support services to Asian elders, and both men and women.

Our Main objectives are: contacts in the community, providing companionship, establish and facilitate the needs, provide caring support and meeting the needs of members, continue to provide a hot and healthy meal, well being of all our members, confidential and independent service provider.
