At Oakley Rural we promote a sense of well-being and health in a sociable environment, offering a range of facilities in a welcoming atmosphere.
Volunteers who work freely with individuals and small groups to provide comfort and alleviate loneliness. Staff and volunteers are vetted with full CRB checks, and receive continuous training on the latest care guidelines.
Activities promote physical and mental well-being, engage and stimulate. Clients can participate in competitions, games, and arts & crafts with plenty of opportunities to learn new skills! We also have entertainers , regular talks and outings of local interest, often to places suggested by our clients.
Health our light exercise class helps to keep clients mobile which is crucial for their independence. Clients also enjoy visits by specialists who provide services with relevance to older people.
Nutrition at Oakley Rural we understand the importance of good meals and nutrition, so we provide a variety of popular freshly cooked meals, as well as refreshments throughout the day. We also cater for vegetarians and diabetics and for those who need other special diets.
Safe, well-furbished environment the centre complies with current legislation on health & safety.
