What does it do?

The service provides:

  • Introduction to computers and the Internet
  • Information and advice on computers and assistive technology
  • Support and training directly in people’s homes
  • Help with overcoming fear of technology
  • Encouragment of learning for people who would not otherwise access computers
  • An online forum for discussion about related subjects

Who it is for?

The service is for all vulnerable adults, especially older people, disabled people and their carers who have no previous experience of computers and the Internet or who cannot leave home unaided.

Where it is available?

Local service (Harborough, Hinckley & Bosworth, Melton, Blaby, Charnwood, North West Leicestershire, Oadby & Wigston).
