The Ladywell Centre

What does it do?

The Ladywell Centre is open Monday to Friday from 9am until 5pm. We provide a wide range of centre and community based activities for people with physical disabilities including opportunities to socialise and integrate with people in the local community; gain new skills, access to employment training and support to carers.

You can take part in a variety of activities including:
  • Mobility and gentle exercise
  • Gardening and relaxation
  • Outings
  • Programmes of information sessions to meet health needs and promote wellbeing
Ladywell also has a Specialist Service for People with Dementia providing quality personalised day care for adults who have had a formal diagnosis of dementia.

We provide sensory and mental stimulation by providing a number of different activities including:
  • Music
  • Bread making and cookery
  • Gardening
  • Bowling
We also organise carers evenings giving them the opportunity to meet the team and socialise informally with other carers.

All service users at the centre have access to Occupational Therapists, District Nurses and Multi-Disciplinary teams.
