What does it do?

Advocacy enables people to protect their rights and speak up. An advocate is a person who can:

listen
help to plan any action
write letters and make telephone calls
ensure views are heard at meetings or interviews
obtain information
investigate alternative sources of support
increase communication with social care services and any other relevant agencies
find out what rights you have
liaise with relevant agencies

The service is available to carers living in Lancashire.

Local service (Fylde, Hyndburn, Lancaster, South Ribble, West Lancashire, Wyre, Burnley, Chorley, Pendle, Preston, Ribble Valley, Rossendale).
