The Quest Day Centre
What does it do?
The Quest as it is affectionately known, provides 100 places per week for older people suffering with dementia or mental health problems.
The Quest offers a varied programme of activities for elderly members, all with the underlying aim of maintaining or restoring independent living skills. Typical services on offer include the popular Lunch Club, visits by a community psychiatric nurse, the services of an optician, advice on claiming benefits, hairdressing, arts and crafts, bingo, trips to the theatre/cinema, day trips and annual holidays.
Transport is provided to frail older people who wish to attend the Lunch Club and Day Centre.
Trained staff are always on hand to provide necessary assistance. The scheme is revenue funded by the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea and referrals are made via Social Services, Hospitals and Doctors
