Medlock Court

What does it do?

The service is flexible at all times and is able to support and respond to the needs of older people in need of 24 hour care for short periods.
A full assessment will be carried out  by a social worker or another professional before admission.
Guests are encouraged to do things for themselves, so they can live as ordinary a life as possible.

There are 21 single occupancy bedrooms available for short term respite care and 11 single occupancy bedrooms available inn a specialist dementia suite for short term/respite care.
Each bedroom has a sink, wardrobe, lockable drawers and comfortable furnishings.

  • Kitchenette adjacent to each lounge

  • Hairdresser once a week (there is a charge for this service)
  • Books delivered from local library
  • Social activities
  • Dementia suite
