Carers retreat breaks

What does it do?

Need a break from caring? In association with the Council, Breathing Space health and wellbeing programme at the London Buddhist Centre are running carers retreats, free short breaks for carers who live and care for someone who lives in Hackney.

The retreats provide a complete break for carers. Free travel, accommodation and food is provided.

The retreats take place at a beautiful retreat centre in Suffolk. These retreats can give you -
  • a complete break from caring
  • new skills and strategies to use in your daily lives to help manage stress and to look after yourself
  • the chance to make new friends – helping you deal with the feelings of isolation that can come with being a carer
  • time to relax, enjoy the countryside, make friends and have fun!
