Provides a toe nail cutting service.
Who it is for?
For anyone who is 60 and/or over that has problems with mobility or dexterity to enable them to cut their own toe nails
Where it is available?
Local service (Isle of Wight).
What it costs:
Our service now has more benefits:
- Scheduled appointment every 6 weeks to keep on top of nail growth
- Easy payment plan – one monthly standing order of £10 ensures appointment every 6 weeks
- Personal nail kit kept at surgery (please note a one off payment of £8 is payable on first visit)
- Home visits available to those unable to get to clinic, upon request (different rate may apply)
- Any profit raised from delivering this service is donated back into Age UKIW, to help to help fund our essential charitable services on the Island

Please phone Age UK Isle of Wight for information or ask your GP for a referral.

What to expect then:
Contact by the nail cutting coordinator to diuscuss the service and arrange an appointment if applicable
Additional information:
The service has grown and is now island wide with clinics in Ryde, St Helens, Ventnor, Sandown, Carrisbrooke, Freshwater, Cowes and Newport and home visits offered where applicable for individuals who are unable to attend a clinic due to disability or health condition
